Exploring Solar Innovations: A Hands-On Field Trip to Siam Technology College
On July 11, 2024, we had an enriching field trip to Siam Technology College, where our learners learned extensively about solar-powered vehicles. They delved into how these cars operate, focusing on the components needed to power them. 
They explored four different car designs, STC 1 through STC 4, which were used in the solar car competition in Australia, and examined the engineering advancements in these green transportation methods. A highlight of the trip was the opportunity for our learners to ride in one of the solar cars, adding a fun and practical element to their learning experience. 
After the ride, we held a Q&A session where our primary learners shared pictures of their prototypes with STC experts. The experts provided valuable suggestions for improving their designs and solar-power mechanisms. Additionally, the learners gained general knowledge that will be beneficial for future projects. 
Armed with this new knowledge, our primary learners had one last chance to modify their prototypes based on the experts’ suggestions and their experiences at STC. ️ This hands-on experience and expert feedback have significantly enhanced their understanding and skills in developing solar-powered solutions.
