Exploring Solar Innovations: A Hands-On Field Trip to Siam Technology College
![]()
On July 11, 2024, we had an enriching field trip to Siam Technology College, where our learners learned extensively about solar-powered vehicles. They delved into how these cars operate, focusing on the components needed to power them. ![]()
They explored four different car designs, STC 1 through STC 4, which were used in the solar car competition in Australia, and examined the engineering advancements in these green transportation methods. A highlight of the trip was the opportunity for our learners to ride in one of the solar cars, adding a fun and practical element to their learning experience. ![]()

After the ride, we held a Q&A session where our primary learners shared pictures of their prototypes with STC experts. The experts provided valuable suggestions for improving their designs and solar-power mechanisms. Additionally, the learners gained general knowledge that will be beneficial for future projects. ![]()
