Dear WeLearn Community:

We know that the rising infection rates, strict lockdown rules, and endless school closures are frustrating and depressing for all. This is no different for WeLearn, as we have a beautiful but empty center in downtown Bangkok waiting for your children. Not to mention our new center in Hua Hin, which was only open for one week before the Red Zone was unexpectedly expanded to that province!  

However, we hope that WeLearn’s unique combination of dynamic online, virtual PBL, hands-on, mentoring, and self-directed learning is providing your child with the best home-based education available.  

If not, we want to hear from you — I want to hear from you. I will be contacting many of you over the next couple of weeks, to get your feedback on our program. As a parent of one of our Learners, I am always looking for ways to improve our delivery, concept, and content. So, I look forward to our conversation. If you do not hear from me and have something to say, please do reach out!

Dear WeLearn Community:

Hua Hin Center Opened. Our Hua Hin center officially opened this past Monday.  We would like to introduce you to Khun Ling, the center manager, who works under Joy as part of our operations team.  Ling has 8 years of education sector experience and speaks fluent English. 

Both of our Open House events went very well, with a number of new students signing up for the next term and many more interested!  We had over 50 guests joining over the two days.

Flex Space, Flex Days, Flex Month 

As you know, our centers are designed to be Flexible Learning Spaces, meaning that there are multiple types of learning spaces for our learners to choose from.  You are also familiar with our Flex Days (Mondays) and Flex Months (end of term):  times when Learners do online learning or other activities outside of WeLearn centers.  

Now FLEX CENTER!

Now with the opening of Hua Hin, we can introduce our Flex Center concept.  Learners at any center may follow their WeLearn program at any other Learning center, at any time.  All centers will follow the same PBL, Innovation and other courses at the same time. This is a key component of our Vision.  This Flex Center concept proved to be very attractive to Hua Hin parents, some of whom want to split time between Hua Hin and BKK. I hope you will get the chance to enjoy the benefits of our Flex Center concept as well.

Dear WeLearn Community:

In spite of the Covid situation in Bangkok, we were able to open the center this week for small groups of
Learners. We had a good group of primary students at our center on Wednesday and Friday for some
supervised virtual learning and social interaction after a long separation.
The preparations for our Hua Hin Center are almost complete with Open House events scheduled for
Sunday afternoon and Monday morning.
Our Bangkok Learners are free to use our Hua Hin Center in the same way they do our Bangkok Center: to
seamlessly follow their learning path in either place, at any time.
