Joining WeLearn: Admissions in Sathon, Bangkok

Admissions in Bangkok can feel overwhelming, so we keep ours simple and personal. Everything starts with one conversation about your child.

Who we accept

WeLearn offers a full-time Dual Program for Middle learners (11 to 14) and Secondary learners (14 to 18). As a learning centre for gifted children in Bangkok, we also welcome twice-exceptional and neurodivergent learners.

How enrolment works

Enrolment begins with a free Discovery Call, followed by a campus visit and a personalised learning pathway designed around your child. Because learning is mastery-paced, mid-year enrolment in Thailand is possible — students can join at almost any point in the year.

What parents should prepare

No documents are needed for the Discovery Call — just your knowledge of your child. Later in the process we may ask for previous school reports and any educational psychology assessments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about enrolling at WeLearn Academy in Bangkok.

How do I apply to WeLearn Academy in Bangkok?

The admissions process at WeLearn starts with a free Discovery Call — a private conversation where you share your child's story, learning style, and goals. If WeLearn is a good fit, we arrange a private campus tour at our Sathon location, design a personalised learning pathway together, and confirm enrolment. There are no entrance exams; we assess strengths and interests, not test performance.

Can my child join WeLearn mid-year or mid-term?

Yes — WeLearn uses a mastery-paced learning model rather than fixed term timetables, so students can join at almost any point in the academic year. Every new student begins with a strengths assessment and we build a personalised learning plan from where they are right now, with no need to wait for a new school year.

Is there an entrance exam to get into WeLearn?

No. WeLearn does not use entrance exams. We believe exams measure one narrow type of performance on one specific day, which tells us very little about a student's true potential. Instead, our admissions process focuses on understanding your child's strengths, interests, and learning needs so we can design the right pathway for them.

How much does WeLearn Academy cost compared to other private schools in Bangkok?

WeLearn offers a premium personalised education at a significantly lower cost than Bangkok's large established international schools, which typically charge 600,000–1,000,000+ THB per year. WeLearn delivers internationally accredited IGCSE and US curriculum qualifications, daily coaching, weekly 1-on-1 mentorship, and a personalised programme — current tuition details are shared during your Discovery Call.

My child is currently homeschooled — can they join WeLearn?

WeLearn actively welcomes students transitioning from homeschooling. Many of our learners in Bangkok have been home-educated and find WeLearn's structured but flexible model the perfect next step — providing the accredited qualifications, peer community, and specialised STEAM facilities that home education alone may not offer.

What documents do I need for admission to WeLearn?

For the initial Discovery Call, no documents are needed — just your knowledge of your child. As you progress through admissions, we may ask for previous school reports, any educational psychology assessments, and identification documents. We will guide you through exactly what is required at each step.

Does WeLearn accept international students and expat families in Bangkok?

Yes. WeLearn Academy in Sathon welcomes both Thai and international families. Our curriculum pathways — IGCSE and US diploma — are internationally portable, which makes WeLearn a strong choice for expat families in Bangkok who may relocate in the future and need qualifications recognised worldwide.
